I took it apart and rebuilt it as a complete Rogue tribal though. Hitting or, then ing it while Bruvac was out was pretty fun. I had synergy going with card draw enchantments and artifacts like, ,, and, triggering mill effects like and. I would pump my unblockable rogues with lords like, or 's ability, then swing through to maximize off Mindcrank. I tried to make my Anowon work as a mill deck. Primarily my win-cons have been focused on either the unblockable damage from the rogues or through the ] + ] combo (I know I can add Bloodchief's Ascension for redundancy, just haven't yet). House Rules: Occasionally we'll play with the Monarch for the first person to deal combat damage or with a modified Planechase deck, although the Planechase is by far an outlier.īudget: Prefer nothing super pricey but any recommendations welcomed!ĭeck Objectives & Win-Cons: Initially I had this list set-up as Rogue tribal, however as I've progressed over time I've ventured more and more towards wanting this to be a deck with a viable Mill option. Meta Examples: ] Artifacts & Graveyard, ] Human Tribal, ] Forced Draw & Snake Tokens, ] Infect & +1/+1 counters, ] Lifegain Meta: Relatively casual as in we play longer games with higher-power cards (avoid constant tutoring to set up combos constantly, super aggressive ramp, etc.) Ultimately open to a long-term conversion of commanders to a Mill deck (] most likely) and if you think that would be a better route I'm open to Phenax suggestions as well. Looking to amplify the importance of Mill in the deck while possibly preserving the Rogue Tribal aspect if possible. Hello!
